Hello world!

I’ve created this blog motivated by a couple things:

1. As a testimony to the Living God

God is still alive and well. He is not only the God of ancient times but the God of modern times. He still speaks to us, performs miracles on our behalf and disciplines us. The Bible encourages us to testify to His voice and His acts. Those are the things I want to share here.

2. As a way to pray for my brothers and sisters

I recently had a conversation with a sister that really convicted me. Its easy to bring prayer requests, its hard to accept them. I want to use this blog to track all the prayer request I’ve encountered so that when not only I can pray for them but so that we can all pray for them.

3. As a way to keep His word in my heart

I often find that I cannot retain the things I’ve learned at fellowship or service from one week to the next. What a waste! This is so I can always flip back, meditate and grow even after the lesson is over. Since a lot of these lesson are things we’ve all learned in CFC, its probably helpful not only to myself but to others as well.

Father, please bless this space and keep it holy – set apart for you like a mustard seed that will grow into the greatest of trees providing food and shelter for many. This only you can do Lord.
